BMO Harris Bank in Frankfort, Illinois

Been with BMO for over 50 years. Started when I was in high school at Lincolnway in New Lenox. Close by and short distance to downtown Frankfort.

Had to close my accounts today because I recently moved out of state. Mohammed Jaber was the gentleman who helped me. He was very prompt and professional but also took the time to speak with me. I appreciated the time he took. The staff are great here. I was sad I had to close my accounts.

Took money out of my checking account for a wire transfer to the Netherlands. BMO Charged me 50.00 to complete the transfer. After 14 days the transfer was never completed! All the account numbers were checked and rechecked .. we all had the same numbers. When I asked Anthony to run a check to find out what the problem was, he said it would cost me money to run a check?? On the 14th day, and the transfer still not completed, I asked to just cancel the entire transaction and credit my checking account with the money that they withdrew. The branch manager “Melissa” said that there would be a charge to convert back to USDollars, and I won't get all the money that they withdrew.; and since they did send it , I won't get the 50.00 fee back! “BUT THE MONEY NEVER GOT TO ITS DESTINATION”....We've banked with BMO Harris for over 25 years and up until now, have been satisfied. Now, we will be looking for a bank that treats its customers the way they want to be treated.

All of the bank tellers are super friendly! I have closed my account and have gone with another bank, but definitely would be back if I lived in the area again.

Charged fee for cashing check on there own bank!

staff does not follow up with promises. I was told a bank officer would call me the next morning....thats been 10 days ago. Why isn't the lobby open? Every other bank is able to open and be safe. I'm changing my account.

Today I received excellent customer service from Ms. Hannah B., Service Manager at this branch. I had difficulty finding a check of a sizable amount online and on my statements. She was very kind and patient with me, and took the time to assist in locating the check. Although she wasn't able to find the check, I now know that it is outstanding. I can now accurately balance my account. Thank you Ms. Hannah for being so nice, and helpful, thus relieving my stress today! I recommend this branch based on this and prior pleasant experiences!
