City National Bank in Huntington, West Virginia

To everyone out there just wanna say don't ever bank with city national I've been trying to get a account closed for weeks now and they keep pushing off telling me “oh it has to be escalated” or “sorry there's pending transactions” i don't know if it's there way of trying to retain customers but def makes for not having to worry about losing them plus I don't have over draft protection which means it should NOT allow things to go threw if they money isn't there and they still let it and get charged a over draft on top of it just my experience never bank with them once I get done hopefully at some point getting the accounts closed now. as I wanted just one originally now I'm closing them all I'll never go back

We are new business owners this month and we had the absolute best experience ever at City National! I went to another bank earlier in the week, actually the bank I have my personal account at, and the man I spoke to was not helpful or friendly I left feeling super discouraged and stressed out with no business account. Our phone call to city national, with Diane, was less stressful then dealing with him. We went in on Friday and sat down with Mikal Ely and I instantly felt so much better about everything! She was super helpful and sweet and really friendly!! She even offered to give me a piece of her spider plant! Which we forgot about by the time we left lol I highly recommend going to them if you want to bank with people who actually care!!! Also I will be switching my personal account to city national as well!! Thank you guys so much!!!

These people have always been as friendly and helpful as they could be. I would highly recommend this bank to my friends and family.

I had an issue with my bounce protection being removed. I called customer service who informed me that since my account is positive it was a branch issue and to call and request to speak to the branch manager. I called my normal branch on and requested the manger. They refused to speak with me and had the teller just tell me no without hearing what the actual issue was. I was upset because they are usually so nice at that location. I decided to call this location but the manger was busy. I left a message and Halee called me back promptly. She was so helpful and went above and beyond to help me out and fix the situation. I am so grateful just that she was willing to speak to me and explain what the issue was let alone go out of her way to fix it for me. Its a little out of my way but I will always go to this location from now on just because of the great customer service!

City National Bank has been excellent to work with. Great staff and great service. Steve Clark is great to work with on commercial lending and Ora Muth has been excellent with personal needs.
