The lack of communication that you receive from this bank is unacceptable. They will do things to your account and then even though you have funds available, you are unable to access your account. They also will close your account and tell you that you have more stop payments on your account than you do and will not even send Fraud papers to you when you ask for them. I advise anyone to stay clear of this bank.

Don't bank here! You make the money and they decide what you do with it! - My employer gave a printed paycheck to cash for my time at work this week. I take the check to cash it out and put some of it in my account there because I got bills coming out directly from the account and somewhere else. The older lady tells me I'm not technically allowed to do that. I was confused because it's my money, my account and my bills I have to pay separately for. She said it has to be a check from Community Trust Bank in order to do that. I still don't know what she means or maybe she was confused herself. She seemed very scattered-brained to say the least and that's my 'polite' opinion. All I came in there for was a simple paycheck cash-out and a deposit into my CTB account but all I got was a dose of policies that limits how I use my money the same day I recieve it. My payday is Friday not when CTB chooses it to be. I've done contacted corporate about this.

Today I just made another payment on my rent check. The teller that handled the transaction was not welcoming at all. I felt as if I was gendering her. She is very snapping and arrogant. I would not have posted this, but this is the 2nd time I got that feeling and demeanor from her.
