| Dave Ranard | I took my 2018 Ford F150 to Etter because whenever I plugged my trailer lights adapter or my trailer lights into the truck an error message would pop up every minute alternating between "Trailer Connected" and "Trailer Disconnected". I was called and told my truck was fixed that it was a blown fuse. Total cost of a single fuse being replaced: 113! That evening when I got home my wife noticed the fuse box lid had been smashed in hood when it was closed by the technician. See photo. Also, the morning after my truck was "fixed" I plugged a trailer lights adapter into the truck and got the error message "Trialer Lighs Module Fail". Obviously, my truck wasn't fixed so I literally paid 113 to have a fuse replaced that didn't solve my problem. I called Bill Estes Ford in Brownsburg and they said they would see the problem resolved and it would be covered by my 3 Year or 36,000 Mile Bumper to Bumper Warranty. Etter Ford said it couldn't be covered by the warranty. |
