They insisted they needed my personal ID and social security number to make the deposit. As usual in life, it's never what you say but how you say it. I said did you look at the account and see that it's a very large business account' and the teller responded I don't have to look at anything, it doesn't matter what kind of account, I need your info for this deposit'. When I thought maybe a manager will be better able to effectively communicate the rules and my options, I asked for one. Well Lisa Keller who came on the monitor next was even more rude than the original teller. Her first words to me were you have come in with the information requested' no greeting how may I help nothing. She was already annoyed to have to speak with me without even hearing what I had to say. She was very short, didn't try to offer me options other than giving my personal info then said she doesn't have time for this I need to pull forward because they have customers to serve and turned off the monitor. I called back and she answered and said leave or else I'm calling the authorities. She was absolutely rude and condescending! I wouldn't give this bank a penny of my money based on the service I received. There are many options out there that treat customers with respect and dignity. Fifth third isn't it. POOR |
Stan McDonald | What a joke. You cannot call the branch, instead you are connected to customer service in Ohio. The customer service people are terrible. My account was locked out. Now they tell me I have to drive over 89 miles round trip to prove who I am. I gave these people all the information they needed to verify me - SS date of birth, first born, street address, where I eat for lunch etc. DOPES |
