First Capital Federal Credit Union in York, Pennsylvania

I agree with other consumers their policies and practices are outdated. I moved my children's accounts to online banking years ago and received awesome CD rates. I only had this account open because of my direct deposits that were already set up with them, but after a less than accommodating customer service experience, I'm out.

Honestly feels like this Credit Union is from the 1920's. The mobile banking app is all but useless unless you're just checking your balance basically, and quite frankly the online banking is not much better! Customer service is terrible, agents will claim to have called you, but never actually did. The "kasasa cash back" is great, unfortunately that is the only positive part of this Credit Union in my opinion. I'm disappointed I brought my business to this institution, and I regret the time that I stayed!

They do not properly communicate their closings. Unless you are friends with them on fb you won't know they are closed on days like good Friday, when every other bank and FCU is open. Therefore, you and many other people are left going to their branch to pull money that is desperately needed and end up finding you're screwed instead. Bank at members 1st FCU, they are a thousand times better.

There is not one time that First Capital has disappointed me in 20 yrs. They answer all questions promptly and are always exceptionally helpful by going above and beyond. They offer excellent loan rates, options and accounts. They have youth programs instilling saving and are involved in supporting the community. I'll never use a bank again.
