Xiaoqing Claire Rong-Mullins | I'm having trouble getting things moving forward with them. I took my car in, they told me they would do an estimate and send it to my insurance. Weeks passed, my insurance never got anything, I had to call the shop, had them send the estimate to me, and I forwarded to the insurance. Then my insurance sent them back the approved estimate. I called multiple times to ask if they've received approved estimate, and was told multiple times they would look into it and call me back. Weeks passed, no one calls me back, this happened multiple times, and the last time they said they would call me back, I said I was worried no one would ever call me back, the guy said feel free to go work it out with your insurance company - why my insurance when it is YOUR shop who won't get back to me? I told them what my insurance told me - the shop needs to call my insurance, I asked the guy if he could call my insurance, he said "no, I'm not getting involved, do you have another body shop your insurance can work with?" I asked "you don't want me to use your shop?" He said "That's not what I said." - well, that certainly sounded like what you INTENDED. The whole conversation sounded like he was not willing to help me, sure he never said the exact words, but I'm not too dumb to understand his intention. So I spent a lot of time to get the insurance company to send me approved estimate, and forwarded it to the shop. Next day I called the shop, a lady answered and said they got it and they would review it and call me back, I asked when would that be, she said as soon as possible. I asked a day, a week, more than a week? She said as soon as possible. I asked so it's possible it'll be more than a week? Guess what she said - "That's not what I said." I asked "so you don't know how long it'll take", she said as soon as possible. Couldn't get a simple yes-or-no answer from her. Sounds like they tried to avoid saying like "I don't want to help", "I don't know how long this will take" - all the things that can serve as evidence that their customer service is not good enough, but no one is too dumb to understand their true thoughts and realize their customer service is indeed not good enough, actually this facade of niceness in wording make it even worse, because it's NOT authentic, it's misleading and infuriating. I understand your shop is probably busy, but I would appreciate if you all could just come out and say so, instead of hiding behind nice words and not having the guts to admit you can't satisfy your customers. |
damaris white | My car was sideswiped recently and I took it to Gerber Collision & Glass Shier Rings, Dublin location. I spoke with Gerry with a "G" an estimator there. He looked at my vehicle a 2015 Infiniti Q50 and said this isn't worth it! He went inside, got a handheld buffer and solution...rubbed it out AND saved me 500 deductibl!!!
