KeyBank in Seattle, Washington

The concept of banks are the same but people aren't. In my short time banking with this branch Calder O' and Linda J. have gone out of their way to assist me twice and I can't thank them enough. Rebuilding after ID theft is tough, but having people you trust at your bank is a great way to start. Great experience, thanks guys.

I never interacted with anyone from this bank and then I'm trying to catch a bus and some white male walks up to me and asked me what I just heard and tried to pin me for doing firecrackers???? Are you kidding me. I will neeeevvvveeeer do business with this bank and if that's the type of employees they have working there they can keep there business.

Key bank is by far the best bank I've dealt with. They treat you like a person, with dignity and respect, not like an account. I switched from Bank of America, and it was the best decision I ever made! Definately recommend them every chance I get!

Boris and Nathan were both wonderful! I was setting up a new account and they made me so comfortable I felt like I was just out to coffee with friends, while still being professional. Not to mention a great free checking account with great benefits! So glad I came to this bank.

Sergio was awesome! Stopped by to inquire about a checking account. Sergio signed me up with a Smart Checking Account and Savings Account. little to no paperwork very happy with the service, less than fifteen minutes.

I saw 3 employees walking around, no customer waiting other than me, I am waiting for 15 minutes already to get service. Very bad !

A year or so went in to get a personal home equity type loan and was approved. Great...paid off some higher interest loans, but a couple months later my wife goes why is Key taking 10 bucks a month out of your savings? Thought there were no fees on that account. Some how when I got the loan they changed my account to a fee based account. Cost was 30-40 bucks until she caught it. Bad on me for not monitoring the account better. More resently, my wife was asking about a 50 dollar fee on the loan in addition to the interest. I guess I did not read the fine print or forgot because the fee was a yearly fee for having the loan open. Bad on me again. To help end the fees I went in with a few thousand dollars to pay down the loan. Banking agent asked if it was for my CC account, I said no, it's for the personal loan. The CC account has and had a zero balance, so why pay that down. Now my wife is on top of those Keybank statements and she asked why I had paid down the CC account when it was zero and now -. How about I just transfer it to the loan. Oh cant do that unless we want to pay 10 fee for taking cash out of the CC. Not OK, so another trip to the bank, where the teller let's me know that she cant reverse the process and she has to send the request to some other place. I explained that I wanted the money applied to the loan with no transfer fees. So 4 days later I got an update email on the status of the reversal. So a week goes by and I notice that the funds were put into my checking account. Me thinking they would move it to the correct loan as requested and it never did. So I took care of that today. Banks apply interest on a daily basis, they cheated me out of a few weeks of interest charges on top of everything else.

This bank goes above and beyond. I always feel like I'm their only customer when I'm being helped! Sylvie was attentive, gracious and when she didn't have the answer, she found one. I was very unclear to say the least regarding some of the bank's phone app features. After she enlisted the help of a knowledgeable coworker, my remote deposit techno-angst was replaced by confident appreciation. This bank's commitment to excellent customer service is obvious. Thank you!

The Key Bank team at this branch is awesome. I needed a service and was not even a member and they didn't even hesitate to help me immediately. I'm strongly considering switching banks after this kind of service! Thank you Trish and Thomas!

There are really friendly tellers at this Key Bank. Be careful backing out of the weird parking spaces that are angled parking ON the street, but fast and clean branch.

Banker lied to me about credit card promotion. I never received any things. I asked him he said wait for 6 months then now is 1 year he called me back and said he didn't apply the promo code into my account. The branch manager doesn't help or anything. Stay away from this people. This is brand is bad. 1800 number refused to help and ask me to talk to the banker. They will put you in their game by sending you back and forward.

So far, I'm giving this specific branch a 5 star review. I've just opened an account today, basic savings & basic checking. We shall see how the banks service and the quality of customer service both online and over the phone go. So far though 5 stars. I literally had a 3 minute wait from the time I walked in the door, with no appointment, and was setting up my account with a personal banker. I dealt with "Buzz" Nguyen, "Buzz" set up everything in what seemed to be 20 minutes or so. SUPER FAST, SUPER FRIENDLY IN PERSON BRANCH SERVICE!!! UPDATED: my atm card still hasn't shown up its been overdue. So today I call the 800 and get hung up on instantly, then call 2 went to a woman who refused me a supervisor, she also lied about the timeline, even by her made up timeline the card was, and is still late. Come to find out the guy "buzz" never put the correct mailing address for my card to go to. I even told this man that this new checking account was a test run to see if I was going to use the for merchant banking also. Well, obviously after this I would never do any business with them ever again. this bank was't as bad as the renton bank of america, but it's pretty bad, to send a new atm card to a random address is banking security at it's worst. After the in store helps lack of following through with putting correct information into the system, and the horrible customer phone service, I would give them 0 stars but it won't let me. DON'T EVER BANK HERE!!!!! EVER!!!

My personal experience at key bank particular at this location was a customer service is poor and most of them are from same race and it looks as family owned business. It doesn't look like any other bank plus not a single different race or diversity in this bank???? I can't believe this in 21 century to see keybank not employing other race really Keybank????

I used to love the convenience of this branch. I was especially happy that they have the drive-thru. We have to pay our rent with an official bank check so we have been getting that through the drive-thru since March. Today they forced my sister, who is a nurse to go into the lobby for this. When COVID numbers are worse than they have ever been. Basically the teller working today didn't want to do the complicated process through the drive-thru. They're were other customers in the lobby, both elderly, plus the tellers who were all potentially exposed because she didn't want to do it. So irresponsible and frustrating.
