They discriminate by picking and choosing who they will give a loan to . After asking for bank statements , paystubs and proof of income I was told “we are choosing not to lend to you” because I am a transportation driver. The rude woman on the other side of the glass said that because she was not familiar with my company even though I provided all required documents denied me a loan because I “don't work in an office or a bank or something , where we could call you at work” as I explained to her over and over I have proof dating back “that's not enough” of my employment with the company. She even refused call my manager. Just because I don't sit in an office space doesn't mean that she wouldn't be able to get thru to me . I am a transportation driver and that obviously means I am out on the road under regular circumstances. I have not physically been to work since early 2020 due to covid and social distancing since I drive a bus and carry passengers but have continued to be paid . Even with all of the legal documents necessary I have been denied and discriminated against. She proceeded to laugh in my face and as she continued to be unhelpful. When I asked her where does it state that you guys get to “pick and choose” who you loan to she didn't even have a reasonable answer other than we are choosing not to loan to you today . I would not have spent 30minutes in this place calling my bank establishment to send over a letter and printing out my personal information if anywhere it stated “we are a small business so we get to pick and choose who we lend t.” Terrible customer service . Discriminators!!!!

I just want to share my experience. I came in to this store after a long day of trying to run errands. I didn't get off work until late and I still needed to cash my check. I can tell you I met one of the most sweetest and down to earth ladies ever named Veronica. You really made my day so much better it was such a relief when you helped me. I was able to get my check cashed and go home to my kids to make dinner. I will be returning, thank you Micro Loans NW!! You guys are the best!!
