Mid-Illini Credit Union in Bloomington, Illinois

This is hands down my favorite in-person bank. They are easy to work with and always friendly! I switched from CEFCU to MICU and I'm not looking back. All around great credit union. 5 stars. :

I have had good experiences in the past with car loans from credit unions. So, when I was in the market for a new vehicle, I applied online to MICU. Shortly after completing a simple online form, Grace Nichols reached out to me to follow up on the application. Now, she could have earned her points my just getting me signed up for an approved loan. But she didn't take the easy route. She noted some issues with my credit that she thought I could readily clean up. We met and she walked me through some simple steps and I decided to do some debt consolidation to move revolving credit to a short-term loan. The process was easy. She helped me at every step I can be a little detail challenged at times. And we got the loan set up. She was very helpful at every point in the process. Thanks Grace!
