OneMain Financial in Salem, Oregon

Every month I paid an additional 75 toward the principle, and yet my balance went UP!!!! HOW?!!! I called every month for nearly a year trying to figure out how this is even possible, and NOBODY could explain why my balance was going UP! I was in finance for 9 years and when I confronted the customer service reps with the fact that their math wasn't adding up, I got the run around....EVERY TIME. Not a single person understood how their interest worked, why I was being charged additional each month, etc. They said that interest was charged at a rate of 6/ day, but I was being charged 270/ month in interest on top of my normal payment requirements.... BAD MATH.

I have had a wonderful experience with this one main branch. I am out in portland and the original location I was working with became unbearable to work with. I switched to this branch in Salem, OR and have received the most incredible service and professionalism. Brandon; the branch manager, has been the living ideology of customer service orientated and foremost a friendly guy to work with. I have had nothing pleasant experiences with this branch, since switching from a Portland, OR location.

Onemain has to be one of the worst companies to ever exist, charging everyday an interest fee. Not Monthly but everyday. Stay away. Trying to work on my credit took out 5700 loan did a total of 6 payments I said enough I decided to pay it off completely before getting robbed more! I payed them over 8347 This means I paid of interest 2647 In 6 months don't go there. I was trying to make my credit stronger and all I did was make their richer don't go!

This company is garbage! They will steal your money stay away!!!

This OneMain Financial Company is the worst I have ever seen. They don't care about you as a customer at all when problem comes. All they care about is their money. Even with the COVID-19 crisis, they are unable to provide any tangible relief solution to customers. They are still asking for money despite all the Ripoffs they are doing. These guys are very mean and ungrateful! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ONE MAIN FINANCIAL TO ANYONE. Search for a better Financial company that will care about you at the time of Financial hardship. Watch out!

Always great and understanding. Especially when i needed some help. So thankful I was able to turn to them to help when I needed it the most.
