Sir Charles | I banked here for 2-3 years. I was asked to put an amount on how much my rent was for an auto loan I was applying for but I lived for free because i worked for the landlord in exchange for housing. I said I didn't know what the value would be but was still pushed to say an amount. I also had a part time retail job too. Sad thing is people seem to give you this attitude if you tell them that you work part-time and not full-time. Even though my part time retail job I was working 35 to 38 hours a week but still was only designated as part-time at my job. Plus working for my landlord that was about 45 hours a week. so no I actually did not work part-time but on paper yeah I had one job I worked part-time and another job that was full time but I didn't have a w2 form for so that wasn't even considered employment. I was declined an auto loan because I was told my living expenses didn't match what I was getting paid. But I had more than enough for a car loan with my part-time job but the loan officer didn't seem to be listening to me when I told him I didn't pay rent. So I stopped banking with regions went to pen air credit Union who's treated me like royalty and are just amazing. They gave me an auto loan. Oh and I paid off my loan two years early too. Thanks regions for telling me I wasn't good enough to get your loan even though I had enough money. I don't suggest anyone banking with regions ever. My brother ended up closing his account with them as well because of the way I was treated. So none of my family bank with regions anymore. |
J Nelson | I am not impressed with the customer service of the teller I just encountered. I tried to cash Petty cash check for my company. I have an account with Regions; but, the PC check was drawn on the company's B of A account. I actually had one teller look at me and state she didn't know me. The one I was dealing with had just made a deposit into my account for five times the amount of the checks I wanted to cash and told me he couldn't cash the checks. They have put me in a position of having to drive to Gulf Breeze of Ft. Walton Beach to cash a check. I even said, "I've got an account and can be held liable for it." He would not cash them. We moved here last year from Thompsons Station, TN. They're customer service is excellent. Navarre is not! |
Blayken Railing | I opened my regions account because I moved from Washington state and my current bank isn't available in the surrounding areas. I wasn't using my regions account enough so I was being charged a monthly fee. After 2 years, I decided to close my Regions account since it was just charging me fees. They told me I had to come back after 3 days to close my account because something was pending. After a month I managed to come back and they told me I had to come back again because my account was overdrawn due to the monthly fee. This is just ridiculous as they aren't open on weekends or after work hours. |
