Been customers over 30 years. Excellent service, great management. Professional and personable to everyone even jerks and idiots. I've observed them deal professionally with difficult customers, drunks and stoners. Some folks don't get that if you write bad checks you gotta pay and if you're over your limit your card is turned off. Eileen Thames is a true asset to the organization.

Was antitank behind south state Bank at coffee with cars, but I do bank there and they are great!

Don't bother trying to call the number listed for this location, they won't answer. Don't bother trying to go in, they aren't open. Don't bother waiting in line outside, they won't be able to help you. Such a enormous waste of my time.

Always very friendly and fast customer service, inside or at the drive-thru. We've opened new savings accounts and worked with a mortgage loan officer in this branch and were always extremely satisfied.

I just had the most incredible customer service from Ash at this bank branch. He went way above and beyond to help me fix a mistake in a transaction. I very much appreciate you Ash! If you need a banker, go to the Bell Hall branch of South State Bank in Mount Pleasant, SC and ask for him. You won't be disappointed! And....thank you Ash!

After a few issues about a year ago, South State has proven itself well enough. It honestly has been becoming more like the bigger banks but the third party services like Elan financial are great. I do regret missing their special on car refinancing and pay hella sweeps 12 per, not bad but those are my fault.

South state is usually very clean. Employees are friendly and efficient. Drive thru available.
