I had a five star experience at the Check Cashing Place in San Diego. These are not lazy people - they open at 9AM on Friday unlike other places 10 or 10:30? C'mon!. I was receiving a Western Union payout on a Friday morning. Both women were friendly and professional. They definitely know what they are doing and know every possible way to make a transaction successful. They were patient and assisted me when my friend needed to change the payout location. As as important side note: This is one of the only places that can pay out more than 300 for Western Union. Mine was almost triple that amount. They said "no limit" which probably means to the 5000 WU limit. Excellent, clean business. If I need to pick up a big WU or cash a check then I will come back for sure. Recommended. Thank you.

Avoid this place... They have extremely bad customer service employees at the front desk are very rude and apparently like to make fun of people.. If i could i wouldn't even give them 1 star.

One star, and I am being nice! I have had to go here a couple of times to bring a friend, and the "customer service" "tellers" are always rude and very Unhelpful! Avoid this place if you can help it!

Poor service... One cashier only and noy only that... 7 people waiting and Cashier was the whole time in the phone with apparently a personal phone call with nonsense conversation while cashing my check and making the line moving slow.. Sunday july 3rd 2016 at 2:20

you guys really need to update your hours on your website if you're not open on Saturday people are literally driving up to these places along with me in like seven other people and the place isn't open. Edit the hours on your website to show covid hrs. People do conduct business on Saturdays because they work during the week.

Terrible service. This place is a scam and they lie when you connect them about information. I wasn't for sure if the computer was slow and that's why my deposit wasn't showing up but I just spoke to someone at the bank and they told me my checks have been ready for a while. I'm hoping the bank can contact the owner of this business seeming they heard the employee there lie while I had them on a three way call.

This company helped me out tremendously with there customer service and their wonderful verification system when my billfold was handled by someone else. Kudos!! This is a great company!

They don't get back to you by email customer service and they don't honor the rewards system. The teller told me that you earn 1 point per money order. And so far my points have been staying at just 1. And I've had about 9 since opening up rewards system. So therefore I should have racked up 9 points. So idk what's going on. I been coming for years I like using this place but to find out about it years later that it's not advertised or told to us. And than not even seem to work is ridiculous don't offer sumthin like this if you don't honor it. The points system if you don't know is earn points each money order bought so when you reach a certain amount of points I forgot what you get a free money order. It's just a perk no biggie but if you offer it honor it SIMPLE and also if a customer reaches out to you return their call or email. It's been a month now and I haven't gotten a response. Does not take this long. This particular location IS the headquarters to them all. So yeah would've been nice to answer smh.
