charles lilly | I tried to refinance my pickup truck through you guys and you would not do it. I just got a loan from you to buy a camper. So don't understand why you'll loan on one item and not on another. Also I tried to get the loan through headquarters and I guess that was my mistake. Cause I got the loan for the camper through my local United federal bank. Maybe I'll try my local United federal bank at a later time. I left my previous bank for this same reason. I had been with them for 10 plus years and they never would give me a loan. That's why I switched banks so hopefully I won't have to change again. I want to be with a bank that wants to help me. |
Kelly Farley | I have been a member for years. I have had several car loans and two HELOC loans. I applied for another HELOC and was initially approved. Then denied because I didn't have enough equity as they would only finance 80 of the home value. When I pointed out that 80 of the home value was much higher than what was owed, I was again told no because they don't go by market value. I then received their value in the mail which was higher than what I had thought the home was worth. I forwarded their value to the loan officer and was approved again only to be told a couple of days later that they could not help me and I would be getting a letter in the mail in a few days. I asked what happened but got no response and never received a letter. I subsequently went to another local credit union and was approved with a .25 lower interest rate so I guess it worked out in my favor - hence the one star. |
Jim Spangenberg | Not very impressed with my credit union's online banking platform, especially the bill-paying feature. I also received inconsistent information from the help center on this feature. Hopefully it will improve soon. I like being a member of UFCU otherwise. |
