The little Trujillo | This location is terrible and why finally after issues here and then what my fianc went through last week was the final straw. Deposited a check for around 77k and trying to find out and getting cash from that has been a headache. The tellers give different dates and then when calling in one dates given just given a new date and then I'm not sure why but there's major attitude when just trying to call and ask and arrange things . Worst customer service and will be closing this account for good and going elsewhere |
N.C. Miller | My mother went to the Pantops Location bank to make a deposit. She did not have my account number, but "make it easier for them to find my account next time" this is what the teller told her he decided it was okay to give her my account number. Luckily it was my mother, but they had no proof of this. Definitely switching banks. |
Richard Hildebrand | Everyone needs to be aware of the "cross collateral" clause hidden deep in the loan papers. I purchased a 2013 Jeep Wrangler and.paid off as agreed. Tried to get title and I can't get. I was told because I filed for bankruptcy due to medical issues and bills, that they have a right to pit a lein on an account I had to list. Its a dwad charged off account. Don't see how this EVER again with UVA credit union. s possible. Nv |

Eliot Fendig | Good quick service, easy online banking options, many ATMs. |
Danna Martin | The Arlington BLVD location service is not good they are not nice people when you go inside need to fix. |
Ari Daniels | I've dealt with at least a half a dozen different banks, and multiple branches of each. UVA Community Credit Union is one of the two best banks I've ever dealt with, along with another credit union. And this branch has always been good - very short wait times, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location. My only complaint is the access is only on one side of one street, but talk about firstworldproblems, right? |

Willow Earth | Liked them about 10 years ago. Now they've changed way too much- this feels and acts as a bank instead of a credit union. They slowly have hiked up fees and have introduced policies that benefit the bank over the member. The customer service tellers are not knowledgeable and read from scripts. At times they just repeat the same scripted line when asked a follow up question. Now suddenly they have started to hold my deposits for longer amounts of time. I use instant cashout for doordash. Thats always meant that i pay money to have instant access to my own money. Now suddenly starting a few days ago the bank holds the money without adding the deposit to my banking records. It adds it to current amount- yet not the available funds- and is not in any way added to my banking ledger. Again. They take the money without adding it to my transactions and without giving me access to it. It is not user error as they usually try to scapegoat. It is not scheduled system maintenance. They try to say policies as justification for unusual or unexpected things- like when they hold my money for sudden unknown reasons starting this week. They shouldn't be allowed to receive someone's paycheck without at least noting it on their account. If I put my own money in my bank account and have to pay money to do it- then they can't suddenly change the way they hold my money. They're playing the banking game where they hold on to transactions to receive miniscule amounts of interest on other peoples money like big banks do. If you bring this up they look at you like you're stupid. Banks factually do this. Pending money held by a bank is no longer considered your money. The banks take time to transfer it to the other person, so they have the money in their virtual hands/accounts temporarily which earns interest. Bank tellers should be knowledgeable about how that works. |
Roy Cornwell | I was affected by an layoff from.work due to COVD-19 and I spoke to them in March 2020 regarding doing an deferment on my 2019 Dodge Grand Van loan and they granted it by the phone conversation and sent me the paperwork to my home address and I mailed it back to them with both myself and wife signatures. Well the following month, they sent me a late notice for the payment and when I called them, they completely denied ever speaking to me and ever receiving any paperwork back. A Credit Union should never operate that way. Everyone - Please be aware this could happen to you. We do not need extra added pain from.a Credit Union when you are in a job loss situation. |
Roscell Davis | I used to really like this bank for the simplicity of it but now I believe I'm seeing their true colors. They happily charge me many overdraft fees and refuse to give me overdraft protection even though I have always put money back in to cover it and have had the account for 7 years. It's to the point where I feel I am being taken advantage of just for falling on hard times. |
