Washington Federal Bank in Seattle, Washington

I've been banking with WF since 2006 when they were First Mutual Bank. I recommend WF to my clients that I set up, review, and train one-on-one in QuickBooks and Quicken. Why? Because unlike US Bank, they allow free downloads into both of those software packages. I also get a free checking account as long as I keep 500 in the account. Parking in the lot can be tight. I wish they would make bigger spaces to park.

Washington Federal was a pleasure to do business with. Jake Chung, branch manager was as knowledgeable and reassuring as he was professional. The entire process went smoothly from application to close. I would recommend Jake Chung to anyone looking for a mortgage loan with the lowest rates and low fees as well as great great customer service.

Unwilling to help us on trivial issues related to the account. We ended up traveling further to get it resolved. Total waste of the time.

They cannot handle more than one customer at a time even though there is three staff. We came in to change beneficiary at Washington Federal in Magnolia to change something. It took them 45 minutes to print out a paper with a Name and address. We still haven't gotten a good service for signing a piece of paper. There staff is horrible and does not have great service. We told it was supposed to be a couple of minutes to do this signing and to change an address it took them 20 minutes. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!

Drove all the way to Magnolia to deposit a check and they don't have an ATM??

I have been with this bank for four years now and they have done nothing but good things for me. Each time you walk in you'll be treated with a warm welcoming and a fresh smell of popcorn. Sad to see that I have to switch banks due to moving but I will always remember this place as a perfect first bank. :

Friendly place but one teller is very slow, after 45 minutes she still trying to fill out a transaction form and the manager is no help. This is the second time with this lady.

Small parking lot with exit that folks going to safeway often cut across making exiting risky... staff are nice
