This is the best pawn shop I've ever been to. I'm a life long Elgin resident, and trust me this is the place to go if you need to sell or buy something. I made the mistake of going to EZ Pawn years ago YUCK!- then took my item here & was offered double . Have been a customer since.This is a classy place for a pawn shop & I will only go here. Store is immaculate, items are quality, and above all, staff is professional and courteous, even with difficult customers I've witnessed. No doubt the few bad reviews came from unscrupulous ppl who tried to sell them junk. Bruno the owner is a straightforward guy, honest, explains everything & won't BS you. Easy on the eyes too ladies Everyone is extremely respectful, & friendly especially Jay and bottom line, they appreciate their customers, know how to treat them and care if you return for business.

Swung by to sell an engagement ring. Although I didnt take the offereven though he offered twice the price a different place quoted me, the older gentlemen possibly the owner was straightforward with me. He gave very good advice on what I could get for it on my own. First time there. Over all he was kind and knowledgeable.
