Academy Bank in Kirkwood, Missouri

I had an account for years with academy bank and now I am going tomorrow to close my account they applied me for a loan which I didn't want them to do and they have tried taking money from my account when I don't have funds in there which messed up my paychecks royally. Will definitely be closing my account I already have a new account do not trust this banks they are crooks

Never apply for a loan with these people because you most likely will not get it. My scores were close to 700, I have had a secured card with Academy since 2015 never missed a payment. They changed the card to unsecured and gave me my deposit back. I asked them for a credit increase and was told I didn't have enough credit, which I had another credit card and a car loan at the time. Applied at two different big well know banks afterwards and was approved at both places. My sister-in-law 700 scores applied for a loan and was denied. So don't let them pull your credit scores down, just to deny you.

Horrible bank!!!! They will steal your money and tell you it's your fault. Then I was left in hold til they closed and was disconnected after 20 min waiting to talk to someone. I will be closing my accounts ASAP and diligently h a report with the bbb. I strongly advise everyone to stay far away from these thieves
