James Colver | Keagan of Cash America in Kenmore is a LIAR. I came to the store 2 weeks ago and I wanted to purchase a voltmeter. The product appeared to be new and the display said there was nothing wrong with it. When I went to purchase the item Keegan asked for my ID. At the time I thought he wanted my ID to make sure my credit card and my ID matched. However take he walked away with my ID and began putting my information into the computer. Keagan did NOT ask for my permission. I objected and he told me that if I could pay with cash he would not have to put my information in the computer. So I went to Safeway and did my shopping, pulled cash and went back and paid for the item. over the next two weeks I found the voltmeter did not work properly so I decided to return it. I brought back the item and my receipt. Jill the manager told me since my information was not in the computer she was going to charge me a fee to return the item. I objected and explained it since they didn't disclose the defect with the item I should be able to return it and get all my money back. Keegan then LIED to Jill and told her that he did explain at the time of purchase the details of the restocking fee. I asked Jill if they have a signed contract or some kind of documentation of that and Jill told me if I don't like it I can take my business elsewhere. I think that's what everyone should do. : |
