R S | I've been with this bank since 1991 27 years back when it was called Bank Calumet. I recently had an issue with service charges for my Diamond Checking/ Savings account. I went to the Dyer Branch to get the issue resolved. The cashiers were ok, one was helpful and the other cashier had an attitude. A Consumer Banking Representative eventually helped me with my issue but she also had an attitude. Make sure you check your bank statements because First Midwest Bank will empty your account by charging service fees before they send you a courtesy notice informing you that they are emptying your account. I will able to rebound from this incident but think about the elderly person that is on a fixed income and couldn't afford these charges. To me this is bad business not to send some type of notification to its customers informing them of service charges being applied to their account. Also if you deal with customer service over the phone make sure you do a follow up. I was told they would take care of the issue and they never did. I would not recommend this bank and I will not be doing business with this bank anymore |
Scient | Does not care about it's customers. Caught them trying to game their system to charge more fees, even the agents I worked with couldn't argue it. Should start a class action suit against them. |
Nick J | I put my money in there. |
