First National Bank of Middle Tennessee in McMinnville, Tennessee

I have had an account with this wonderful bank since 1979... after I graduated from high school. Before that, my Daddy & his Daddy did all their banking with First National Bank. Tradition at it's best.

Used this bank to purchase a home. Our loan officer Jane Anne was amazing. I read the reviews online and quite honestly disagree with the negative remarks about this bank. "They let me use the restroom and no one was at all rude and our home closing went fast and smooth. .but I know everyone has their own opinion and experience. I will be using this bank for loans and closings in my home sales and purchases in the years to come. Thank you Jane Anne for being so helpful

I recently had a transaction as a Realtor where the buyer used this bank as his lender. After selling real estate for 10+ plus years, this was, by far, one of the worst lenders to deal with. If I ever sell a home in Tennessee again and the buyer is using this bank and the particular loan officer I had to deal with, I will STRONGLY encourage my seller not to accept the deal unless the buyer is willing to change lenders. I received very little communication from the loan officer, who, when he did communicate, would do so only via text. I had to go to the branch manager who did communicate but would never actually go out out on a limb to verify anything. The "good ole boy" mentality used by this lender and loan officer was extremely frustrating and one that is years behind the times. If you're looking for this type of business, this bank is for you. If, however, you are looking to deal with professionals who answer the phone, communicate and represent themselves with integrity, find another lender and loan officer. The one I had to work with did not possess those skills.
