First National Bank in York, Pennsylvania

More about the bank as a whole than this location specifically. I belonged to Metro Bank before they were bought out by First National. While my experience with the tellers has been fine most are rather pleasant the corporate policies are horrible; they find every way to slip in "hidden" fees. Want to use a non FNB atm that's surcharge free, sure no problem, it will only cost you 2.50 every time you do so. If you are looking for a new bank, keep looking, because FNBs checking and savings offerings are horrible and they will charge you for everything they don't even give your first set of checks for free like most banks. I just switched to PeoplesBank and am much happier more locations, better account offerings, better hours, etc.

Can't say I've ever had a problem. A lot of the people that work there are friendly. The biggest complaints I've heard is how they are just different from metro. But they are about average in policies compared to other banks. And their hours, despite the cut back from metro, is still longer than that of other banks like Santander.

I have had MULTIPLE problems with online banking not working correctly or not working AT ALL over the past few years. When I call the main call-center, I am put on hold for 20 or more minutes. If it were not so difficult to change all of our automatic bill paying I would switch banks in a heartbeat.

My wife and I recently had our checking and savings account hacked. Shanda, the assistant manager was extremely helpful in setting us up with new credentials and putting us at ease. Thank you again!

The worst customer service - wouldn't return an overdraft fee despite me never having one in the past and being a customer for 13 years.

Drive through is extremely slow

I'm overall not a fan of FNB but I will say this branch is by far better than the other locations. Go out of my way to be waited on by Justin. He is so nice, personable and funny. I see management in that man's future!

The only compliment i have is their first national bank app sucks. I have the right username and password. Then it saying wrong information and kicks me out or locks me out.

Twice they deposited my money into someone else's account Even when I supplied my driver's licence through the drive-through and had to press the call button to verbalize their mistake. The drive thru wait time Is quite long so if your in a hurry don't go through the drive thru. It seems often they do not have a teller for each drive thru lane open so it takes even longer and I've seen inside the bank they have no one designated to drive thru only, they have the tellers at the front desk waiting on inside customers as well as trying to wait on drive thru customers its quite bad. This location was good when it was commerce Bank then metro was even greater with later hours, free coin counting services and much faster service in general and now as first national Bank its quite a disappointment. It seems like they continuously get new people So often when you go there you have to treat it like it's the 1st time your there Generally all I have to do is send in my payroll check tell them I want to deposit it into my checking account and they do it but when there's a new person than they want to send you out a deposit slip taking up more time from the growing line behind you when they have your driver's licence and can easily look it up and keep things moving.

Horrible customer service from the tellers and even the “branch manager.” I drove to the bank and asked them to simply add my street address in their system so that it would print my physical address instead of just the P.O. Box on my statement and first they told me they couldn't do it at all. When they realized that it could be done, they still gave me a “maybe” and said they didn't have time for me and they would “call me when they look into it and could take an hour.” Their only exception and saving grace was one of their 3 tellers on duty who called me to say it was taken care of. This person happened to be out to lunch while I was actually there. Will be switching to a credit union as soon as I get what I need from them.
