Freedom Federal Credit Union in Bel Air, Maryland

All customer service has been fine. It's just EVERYTHING ELSE. Attempting to consolidate my credits cards onto one 0 interest for 15 months card, my funds didn't transfer for 2 months after opening the card. Now I just have around 13 months to pay off debt. When using their app I didn't see any of my payments transactions toward the card so I called and waited nearly an hour even though there are no callers ahead of me just to hear that they couldn't see my payments and they didn't know what was wrong. Went to a branch location I wanted to make a complaint about about the phone customer service and was told it's a third party company taking my call. Also, The third party company didn't ask any questions to verify my identity. The branch was able to see my transactions thankfully and I was told to download another app freedom card services in order to see my payments. I input the card I would like to see the transactions of and it says unable to verify. There's a problem with every little thing!!! It shouldn't be this difficult to open a card, transfer funds, see transactions.

No automated number to call to check balance. If you call the 800 number during the day to speak to someone be prepared to be on hold 10 minutes or more and passed from person to person and then told there's nobody available to help you.

Awesome customer service. Got a new vehicle from Jones, loan was with Freedom, great rates and I called to open checking account and debit card. They did it all over the phone and delivered as promised. Thank you!
