MariSol Federal Credit Union in Phoenix, Arizona

My husband of 47 years has had an account with Marisol credit union for over 30 years..He passed away in December of 2020... I immediately contacted Marisol to advise them of his passing..they advised they would process the ACH's manually for January. There is still 187 left in the account and they will not release it to me stating I'm not on the account! There is no probate no estate...where will that money go? They treated me like a criminal...again we had been married for 47 years...Unbelievable customer service and total lack of respect...

I've been with Marisol about 3 years. Account always in good standing consistent direct deposits. I was denied a small loan and had to use title loan company. They even asked me to do an interview for an article about their program to help people get out of title loans and bank with them I completed the program. Yet, couple years later when I needed a loan they denied me. Now shared branching is no longer an option so I can not deposit my cash, unless I drive 30 minutes to branch in Phoenix.

Expect to bring original copies of your social. O.o who carries that at 56? Wanted to deposit and open an account with 7k cash. Never been asked to pick a primary between married couples. Guess when my building sells on the 30th I will have to find a friendlier bank. Maybe cause we were a gay couple? Don't waste your time...
