RamZs Emporium in Lafayette, Indiana

Place is terrible, save yourself the trip and go up the street to the pawn shop. Was asking for a small loan on a very rare item of value and try to lowball me on the loan , but if I sold it to them I'd get a great price. When I told them I really want the item back he then said there is no market for it he couldn't do the loan? Really ? You had just offered 200 if I'd Sell it now there's no market? Unbelievable how they treat their customers. Also about 1/2 of these positive reviews were generated by bots if that tells you anything.

Bought a laptop was told it was good and working nothing wrong with it was charged 150. But then when I got home had to buy a new charger and battery which ended up costing me the same price as a new laptop. I won't be going there anymore.. Very disappointed

I went in and had them give me an appraisal. They appraised my item at 265.00 I left ofcourse because I knew I was being cheated. I drove 10 minutes down the road to veirks on 18th st. In lafayette in . they took one quick look and offered 1,110.00 dollars in cash on the spot ..i took it and the receipt back to Ramsey's emporium . Only to be told it was a mistake and I must have misunderstood? Beware they are crooks and have been taking advantage of our wallets for decades. Please don't enable them!!!
