TCF Bank in Glendale Heights, Illinois

5 stars just because they have a drive thru. Most TCF branches do not have drive thrus and it can be inconvenient.

My husband came in to to deposit a check once in the branch my husband called me and said Monica told him I need to come to the branch, I had to clock out of my work and come in to the branch. Unaware of Monica's bad intentions I walked in the bank, there was two police officers and as soon as a approached the front desk I was received by Monica who had the most horrible attitude and behavior towards me. I told her that I was there because I was called to come in, that I'm unaware of whats going on!!! I did NOT disrespected this woman in any way and I was not going to get into an argument with her "which is what she was looking for" so proceeded and asked her for my check to be deposited in my account then Monica has the nerve to tell me that "she prefers I go process this transaction in another branch" are you serious? First she makes me clock out of my job to come into the branch and then refuse to service a customer. I told her that it was unacceptable. I was very upset, I've never been treated this poorly and disrespected in my life this way. I told her that if she refuse provide service to a customer and treat me with respect I would like to close my accounts however that first I would like to check my account balances in my phone first. She walked away as I was standing by the desk saying "I can't wait for you, I got work to do" I proceeded to step out of the branch and after talking to my husband I learned from him and my younger child that this woman openly and intentionally made a very unacceptable comment in front of my children and two other branch employees. I didn't disrespected this women in any way for her to treat me this way. Are these the kind of employees you hire in your company?? I would like corporate to contact me asap and find a resolution for to her inappropriate behavior.

The man there was very assertive and not friendly at all.

Very nice and helpful staff. The wait can get long depending on what people need. Given that it's a small branch, it's understandable.

Trying to get a hold of someone to talk to you in person these past two months have been incredibly a horrible experience, it seems nobody really speaks English that well and when you tell them what your problem is they put you on hold and they never come back, on hold for 30 minutes or more terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible customer service had an issue with my card tonight I miss placed it but I found it later on this evening couldn't get a hold of them to tell them I found my card so when I tried to use it later it was declined can't get a hold of anybody to tell them that I found my card this is a complete mess and I am totally over this bank I hope somebody reaches out to me and fixes this TCF customer services are horrible horrible horrible I am so sad about this because this was always my go to bank
