Texas Trust Credit Union in Midlothian, Texas

Very unimpressed with their customer service. I had auto pay on my car payment. My wallet was stolen and my debit card was compromised. So I ordered a new one. Turned out the auto pay was on my debit card not my checking account. I remember later it was due to their website being so difficult to figure out. Not user friendly at all so I had to call in and they just added the debit card. Then I got a call saying my payment was late. It was 20 days late so they charged me 18 late fee. I asked why they waited until after the grace period to let me know my auto payment failed. They said this was just a courtesy call. So no auto e-mail or anything until after the grace period of getting charged a late fee. I asked if they could remove the late fee and they said only if it was an error on their part. So instead of gaining long-term customers they care only about the quick dollar, as I will never get another auto loan through them. The ironic thing is the car was in the shop for over a month with no transmission. I should have just told them to come get the car. As a "courtesy" I'll tell them exactly what shop it's at. This is a joke of a place.

Absolutely terrible, shady business practices, you should be ashamed of yourselves

I have been a member of TTCU for 15+ years but have only recently started visiting the Midlothian branch. I AM NOT IMPRESSED!! Do not visit this branch for Notary services. I am required to submit an annual guardianship report for my mentally disabled son. It is a standard report confirming address etc. They refused to notarize. SILLY!!
