Ben Ward | House sells. Mail suddenly showed up to house under new names and the carrier took it upon themselves to return everything to sender. Office claims this is normal because the previous resident set up a mail forward and tagged the house as vacant. Never had this problem before; multiple rental properties elsewhere still get mail for tons of past residents whose forwards expired. USPS web page states a location will be marked vacant after 90 days of mail not picked up. Home is right next to the box, obviously occupied, for sale sign gone, mail dutifully picked up. Dont expect a high level of critical thinking from this branch or its carriers. |
Bunny Mott | The mail carrier drops boxes over the fence and today the box had weed killer in it and the lid cracked and it leaked out all over the sidewalk. Nobody answers the phone |
Debi Sousa | Why is this office not open at least a partial day on Saturday? Those of us work very early hours and long days, how are we suppose to take care of our mail? I also get notices that mail packages are delivered but aren't. I have told them repeatedly to leave packages in a silver trash can located by my gate and they can't get that right. However the post master went out of his way to find a package that was forwarded to Eureka, that was great customer service. |
