Huntington Bank in Livonia, Michigan

I recently had an issue with fraud in my account. When I talked to the 1-800 number for Huntington they explained what was happening with my account, and why the account was on hold. The next day I was alerted my account was negative. First thing in the morning I went to this branch to figure out what was going on. Though the teller herself wasn't particularly rude, she wasn't helpful at all reg my accounts. I tried explaining the fraud and all I got was a second lady rudely interjecting and then saying they will close my account and I can't get another with them after. I was frustrated and concerned for my money and all I get is attitude. I later called the 1-800 number again explain things and suddenly my accounts are cleared up, the fraud was reported and access to my money again. It was fast, easy, and polite. I spent half my day running around in a panic because this bank location was rude and did not handle my fraud claims properly just threatened closing my accounts. At least huntington's 1-800 help was on top of things, however I will never deal with this branch ever again, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone with issues.

Love the staff. I now come to this branch, even though its not my home branch. Very happy with the service. Branch Manager is awesome.

The branch is NOT in fact open. Although, the recording would lead you to believe it is open until 7. Came at 5:15 on a Wednesday and all was dark. Decided to use the ATM machine, which was next to impossible considering the screen is so screwed up you can't read anything on it and some of the buttons don't work!

Why one star? Because Skyler was very nice and patient. Why otherwise I would give zero stars? Because of you ask about early pay off penalty they say there is non but there is actually one there for 150. Did they inform me about it? No! In fact they just openly lied about it : In the end, just tried to gave my “final pay off” balance within brake down what is what. Sadly this is common practice among banks. No your fees besides the interest rate. Docs, cancelation and other things. Yes, bake can be crooked. Shoking!

I bank here everyday for my work and the employees here are really friendly and I have never experienced any problems. They also have one out the best hours for a bank I have ever seen!
