KeyBank in Eugene, Oregon

The Headquarters location in Eugene, OR at 10th and Oak is blessed to have Kara as their lead teller. She is the primary reason that I visit the headquarters location for my personal Banking needs. She makes things convenient and thanks me by my name. She has personally handled some errors for me when we had an issue with a delayed debit card. She actually did proactively call me when my card did eventually arrive. It's people like Kara that keep me happy banking with key bank. Honestly I'm a very particular person when it comes to customer service, since I have a few years of customer service in my own background, so when I say Kara is Key Bank's best, it means she is maintaining the best image of key bank possible and giving the best experience possible for ordinary clients like myself. As a long time customer I should feel welcome and appreciated. This branch, unlike the other branches, makes me feel like I have to prove my integrity. I'd use another branch, the distance will be worth your time.

I did a mobile check deposit withmwith Oregon Emergency Relief Fund 500 check yesterday Friday 8-21-2020, and upon completion it said my check would be available by 9am the next day. So I loaded up my girlfriend and we drove down to Brookings from Eugene to enjoy a day on the ocean. Planned on having money available at 9am to drive home and have lunch with, and I called this morning to check my account balance and Key Bank put a hold on my cashier's check until 8-27-2020! Now I'm stranded with no money 4 hours from home and Key told me there's nothing that they can do until Monday when the manager is in. I am so mad right now I don't know what to do. If they put holds on cashier checks upon mobile deposits for nearly a week they should let you know before you choose to deposit it that way. I could have just went to the branch to make the deposit in person and received my money but out of convenience I chose to do it from home and now I'm stranded with no money. This is preposterous and I would not recommend this bank to anyone else after this issue.

ive been with Key bank for six years with the Veneta Or. branch i have a hassle free acct. and it truely has been just that . All personal have been friendly and helpful. Thank you

I love this bank so much that I would drive across town just to come here. Solely because of Sheryl. She is genuinely one of the kindest human beings I think I have ever met. You sit down and talk to her once, and it feels as if she has been a part of your family for years. And this world is lacking kind humans, so when you encounter them... even if only for brief moment here and there... appreciate them. People like Sheryl are a gift to this world

Great bank ! Been banking with them for many years

Absolute nightmare of a bank to deal with. I have had so many terrible, unnecessary issues with them at all branches, too many to list. I was on a wildfire in California declared a state emergency, while i was out my account went 9.99 negative, i was gone for 12 days and came back to 288 dollars in fees that no one could help me with taking not even one of the reoccurring fees off. When i finally talked to the branch manager in person she assured me there was atleast something they could do, do to the circumstances and said she would call back that day..... Well she never called, that is just one of the ridiculous encounters i have had. Stay away from a bank and join a coommunity credit union, there is a reason why there building are a ghost ttown with very few customers in them.

A bank that's you can trust

This bank doesn't care about their customers whatsoever, they are money greedy. They see you struggling and make you struggle even more! When you go to them with a problem they don't even try to solve it, they just keep telling you what you already know and many times have taken overdraft fees more then once on the same day and won't refund them.

Very helpful answering questions and I appreciated their advice on handling investments and accounts.

If I could, I wouldn't give this bank a single star. I hardly ever right reviews but the service of this bank is appalling. We have several accounts there including a business account and we will moving all of our money. They like to nickle and dime their customers and do not have a clue about customer service. Do not trust them with your money, there are far better choices out there. So glad we were already banking elsewhere before all this happened.
